This page gives details of the support the EACR is able to offer for displaced researchers from Ukraine. We ask all cancer researchers to consider whether you are able to offer paid or unpaid opportunities in your lab. If you have a position to add, please contact us.
The opportunities listed on this page are reserved for researchers who were actively working in Ukraine until the Russian invasion on 24 February 2022. Due to the nature of the research positions in international labs, applicants need to speak English unless otherwise indicated.
This is a list of paid positions in cancer research laboratories, reserved for researchers displaced from Ukraine.
This is a list of cancer research labs who are willing to host a researcher from Ukraine for a short term placement (minimum 3 months). The placement is likely to be unpaid, but the EACR can provide grant funding up to €5000 to cover any travel, accommodation and subsistence not funded by the host lab.
This kind of short term placement could give a researcher from Ukraine time and safety in which to plan their next move or apply for other roles.
Every cancer researcher has something vital to offer in the fight against cancer: let's not leave our Ukraine colleagues behind.
The funds raised will help us to provide short term placements in cancer research labs to researchers displaced from Ukraine.
This kind of short term placement could give a researcher from Ukraine time and safety in which to plan their next move or apply for other roles.
