About Molecular Oncology

Molecular Oncology is a monthly online-only Open Access journal that highlights new discoveries, approaches, as well as technical developments, in basic, clinical and discovery-driven translational cancer research. It is a not-for-profit journal owned by the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS).
 
Molecular Oncology’s emphasis is on work that significantly advances our understanding of disease processes leading to human tumour development and/or establishes novel concepts of clear clinical significance in diagnosis, prognosis and prevention strategies for cancer patients.

Our Partnership

Molecular Oncology is an affiliated journal of the European Association for Cancer Research and we work together on a number of activities, including:

• EACR Board members and other key opinion leaders authoring regular ‘EACR Viewpoint’ articles for publication in the Journal. 
• Publication of the EACR Congress abstracts in a supplement to Molecular Oncology 
• A joint symposium at the EACR Congress
• EACR-Molecular Oncology Editorial Fellowships
• Other joint promotional and educational activities
