The EACR Early Career Researchers (ECR) Council represents EACR members who are early-career researchers (PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and young Group leaders up to 5 years after becoming Principal Investigators).
The ECR Council acts as the bridge between early-career researchers and the EACR Board. By proposing and organising new activities, the Council aims to support, empower, and promote the growth and networking of researchers in early career stages, giving them a voice and fostering the advancement of science.
Activities led by the ECR Council include networking, mentoring and educational events, coordinating the Early Career Researchers Symposia at the EACR Congress and advocating for ECRs to be represented in EACR scientific programmes.
