In a competitive job market such as cancer research, it is crucial to stand out from the crowd and to be able to demonstrate the ‘impact’ of your own research. This online networking event exclusively for EACR members will focus on self-marketing and using social media to your advantage. Join the conversation together with our Early Career Researcher (ECR) Council members Maria M Caffarel (Spain) and Guillaume Jacquemet (Finland) and their guests:
Christophe Leterrier, Institute of NeuroPhysiopathology, France, Ricardo Henriques, Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência (IGC), Portugal and Sam Kirk, Communications and Social Media Coordinator at EACR, United Kingdom.
Target audience: scientists at any career level working in academia or beyond. Exclusive event for EACR members. Meeting format: Free conversation in a Zoom meeting with open cameras and microphones. For part of the meeting, attendees will be split into break rooms to facilitate conversation and create an intimate atmosphere and a safe space for all attendees to be able to articulate their questions and concerns. Each break room will be moderated by an ECR Council member or a guest. The duration of the meeting will be 1 hour. The event will not be recorded and the Chatham House Rule applies.
