JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the research team led by Ana MartÃnez Riaño. The project is focused on understanding how anti-tumoral immune responses are developed and organized within tumors, with specific emphasis on the role of immune-stoma interactions in lung tumors. Specifically, the project aims to uncover the stromal remodeling that accompanies anti-tumor immune responses and to determine how specific factors modulate these processes. The successful candidate will work with animal models and clinical samples and will apply a range of cutting-edge techniques, including flow cytometry, 3D microscopy and transcriptomic analyses. Our goal is to identify the mechanisms that promote effective anti-tumor immune responses and to exploit these findings to develop novel therapeutic strategies.
The team is part of the Oncology Department at Biogipuzkoa Health Research Institute (HRI Biogipuzkoa).
