EACR Awards
The EACR offers several prestigious awards recognising excellence in cancer research. Each comes with an award lecture at the EACR Congress as well as an honorarium.

The Mike Price Gold Medal Award
A biennial award recognising a senior researcher who has made exceptional contributions to the progress of cancer research in Europe.
The Pezcoller Foundation-EACR Rising Star Award
Presented biennially to celebrate a cancer researcher who has the potential to make significant contributions to future cancer research progress, who is within 1 – 4 years of having established their own laboratory in a European institution.
The Pezcoller Foundation-EACR Translational Cancer Researcher Award
Celebrates academic excellence and achievements in the field of translational cancer research. Presented annually to a researcher with no more than 15 years post-doctoral experience.
The Pezcoller-Marina Larcher Fogazzaro-EACR Women in Cancer Research Award
Celebrates the achievements of women working in cancer research. Presented annually to a researcher who has, through leadership or by example, furthered the advancement of women in cancer research.
