Bilbao, Spain : 14 - 16 October 2025
At the EACR, we know that conferences are about more than just hearing the latest research. Our events are well-known for providing excellent opportunities for networking, interaction, and discussion. Here are some of the features you can look forward to at Cancer Neuroscience:
Tuesday 14 October, 14:50-15:20
We know that many of our participants are solo travellers and it can sometimes be a bit difficult to settle into the conference ‘vibe’ after a long day of travelling. We know exactly how that feels after our own travelling experiences so if you fancy meeting up with like-minded people, please meet up by the EACR Conference Banner at the registration desk after grabbing a coffee and a snack. This is not a structured event, just an informal opportunity for you to meet other participants who have travelled solo for a chat.
Tuesday 14 October, 16:55-17:45
Join us as our esteemed Scientific Programme Committee of Frank Winkler (University Hospital, Germany), Barbara Marte (Nature, UK), Michelle Monje (Stanford University, USA) and Erica Sloan (Monash University, Australia) share their own personal and professional experiences of their path to scientific leadership, as well as their experiences in the field of Cancer Neuroscience. This interactive and informal session will be a great opportunity to gain insight and advice from our Scientific Programme Committee.
Tuesday 14 October, 17:45-18:45
A welcome drinks reception will be held on Tuesday evening to give participants the opportunity to meet new colleagues and reconnect with friends. A light buffet will be served for all participants and exhibitors to enjoy. The trade exhibition will be open at this time, and there is the opportunity to continue networking and view posters during Poster Discussion Session 1 (which will start at 18:15).
Tuesday 14 October, 18:15-19:45
Wednesday 15 October, 13:30-15:00
There are two dedicated 90-minute Poster Discussion Sessions in the programme. At these times, the presenters for that session should stand by their posters to discuss their work with other participants and invited speakers. As well as the dedicated sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, there will also be additional poster viewing opportunities each morning from 08.15 where posters can be freely browsed.
Wednesday 15 October, 17:45-18:45
This interactive session will provide a unique platform for attendees to exchange ideas and perspectives, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the evolving landscape in Cancer Neuroscience and connect for future collaborations.
The Scientific Programme Committee will be joined on stage by 4 of our invited speakers to discuss the following 3 topics:
11:30 Tuesday 14 October - 10:45 Thursday 16 October
Alongside fantastic scientific content, this conference will feature a small industry exhibition held within the poster area. The exhibition is an opportunity for researchers and companies working in fields relevant to the conference topic to connect and network. Visit the stands during the programme breaks and meet friendly product experts to find out how they can help with your current or upcoming projects. Wednesday 15 October at 20:00
The Conference Dinner will take place at Kafe Antzokia’s Restaurant on the final evening of the conference. It will be an excellent opportunity for participants and speakers to get to know each other in a relaxed and informal environment. After dinner, we will enjoy music and dancing with a live DJ.
Tickets for the conference dinner are not included in the registration fee and can be selected as an optional extra for only 60.00 EUR.
Due to the size of the restaurant, spaces are limited. The evening is expected to be a sell out, so make sure that you buy your ticket when registering!
