BMJ has an exciting opportunity to appoint an inaugural Editor-in-Chief for its newest open access publication, BMJ Oncology. The Editor-in-Chief will act as an ambassador, upholding the highest ethical standards and editorial policies, as well as actively promoting and developing the journal. Applicants should have international stature in the field of oncology, a distinguished publication record, and editorial experience. The successful candidate will recognize the need to engage the journal’s audiences at all levels and develop its content and global reach. Because BMJ Oncology is a new publication, the Editor-in-Chief’s role will include establishing a vision that sets the journal’s international reputation and profile and providing engaging and informed content that has a tangible impact on the quality of patient care.
