We're awarding a number of Travel Grants to help researchers who need financial assistance to attend the conference and present their work as an oral or poster presentation.

There are two eligibility categories:

• Student and Early Career EACR members with less than four years postdoctoral experience
  or
• Researchers based in countries with a low- or middle-income economy. You do not need to be a member of the EACR to apply in this category. Click here and scroll down to see the current list on the World Bank website

Each Travel Grant includes a free registration and funds to support travel and accommodation costs. There is no maximum amount you can apply for, but we expect applicants to choose the best value travel and accommodation possible, and we cannot guarantee that we will always be able to cover the full amount that applicants have applied for. Non-EACR members will also be awarded a free EACR membership.

Metastasis Research Society Travel Grants

Travel Grant Winners:

• Ye’ela Scharff, Israel

Travel Grants will be awarded to members of the Metastasis Research Society (MRS) who need financial assistance to attend the conference and present their work as an oral or poster presentation.

Eligibility criteria:

• Applicants must have held a valid membership of the MRS for at least three months immediately prior to the application deadline.
• Only members who are PhD students or who completed their PhD (or equivalent degree) less than four years ago are eligible to apply. Exceptions may be made in the case of researchers who have had a professional break, such as illness or parental leave.
• Applicants must have submitted an abstract for the conference through the conference website.
• Travel Grants are targeted at individuals who, without additional funding, would not be able to attend the conference. Please consider your financial need before applying and demonstrate it in your application.
