Welcome to Cancer Metabolism 2024! This page brings together all the information you’ll need while attending this EACR conference.

Please make your way to Entrance 1 (Entrada 1) when you arrive at the venue. You will see a digital Cancer Metabolism banner displayed above this entrance. You will easily notice the registration desk as you enter the building. You can register from 11:30 CEST on Tuesday 08 October. Once registered you will be given your conference badge and pocket programme. If you notified us of any dietary requirements, these will be listed on the back of your badge in both English and Spanish. Please ensure you always wear your name badge while you're at the conference. After the conference we will collect your badge for recycling.
You are welcome to leave your coat and luggage in the luggage storage area located close to the registration desk, but please note that this is an unsupervised area and personal items are left there at your own risk.
Poster presenters of poster numbers 01 – 117 can display their poster on their assigned board as soon as they are registered. The boards are 100cm wide by 145cm tall (portrait) and posters should be no larger than 90cm wide by 140cm tall (portrait). Please find your designated poster board (the correct poster number will be in the corner of each board) and attach your poster. Poster presenters of poster numbers 118 – 236 can display their posters on their assigned boards from the morning coffee break on Wednesday 09 October (10:45-11:15). Materials to attach your poster will be provided for you.

If you are a solo traveller, attending the conference on your own, then please feel free to join us at the EACR Banner in the Exhibition area during the afternoon coffee break on Day 1 (between 14:50-15:20) to connect with fellow solo attendees. Our friendly EACR staff will be on hand to assist you, answer questions and offer insights into local dining spots and noteworthy attractions.
We will be providing refreshments during our designated Coffee Breaks as well as providing a selection of food during the lunch breaks on Day 1 and Day 2 of the conference.
Dietary Requirements (by prior arrangement only): Please identify yourself to the serving staff. Confirmed dietary requirements will be detailed on the reverse of your conference badge.
Tuesday 08 October, 17:30 – 18:15
Taking place on the first evening in the catering areas of The Euskalduna Conference Centre, our welcome reception will give participants the opportunity to meet new colleagues and reconnect with friends. A light buffet and welcome drinks will be served for all participants and exhibitors to enjoy.
Wednesday 09 October, 20:00 CEST
The Conference Dinner will be taking place on the final evening of the conference at Kafe Antzokia’s Restaurant, a short walk from the conference venue. After dinner, we will enjoy music and dancing with a live DJ. If you have already registered for the Conference Dinner, then you should receive a ticket tucked inside the plastic holder of your conference badge. If you expected to have a Conference Dinner ticket but did not receive one, then please come to the EACR Helpdesk during a coffee break.
Entrance will only be permitted to the Conference Dinner with a valid ticket. Please ensure that you bring your ticket with you to the Kafe Antzokia on the evening of the dinner otherwise you may not be permitted entry.
Please arrive at 19:55 to be seated for the 20:00 start.
