Five Group Leaders
CANCER RESEARCH CENTER
The Inserm Federative Institute (IFR50, www.ifr50.fr/) and the CNRS Research Institute of Developmental Biology & Cancer (UMR6543, www.unice.fr/isdbc/), both affiliated to the University of Nice are preparing the emergence of a Cancer Research Center regrouping world class research teams in the field of Cancer Biology/Stem Cells and in close cooperation with the University Hospital and Cancer Center Antoine Lacassagne of Nice.
This research center will offer core facilities for imaging, proteomic/metabolomic, flow cytometry, animal house, tumor bank and biopathology. The future Center will host the best-evaluated local research teams working on: inflammation, extracell. matrix, angiogenesis, apoptosis, tumor hypoxia and stem cells.
We are seeking outstanding junior/senior research Group Leaders in areas of basic and/or translational cancer research covering senescence, epigenetic, immune response, tumor microenvironment, tumor metabolism, cancer stem cells…
Selected candidates will be assisted for applying to permanent positions and grants at the National Agencies of CNRS and Inserm (ATIP, Avenir programs), University of Nice and to programs of National Cancer Institute, Chairs of Excellence.
Applications should include a CV, an expression of interest, a 4-year research program and contacts of 3 established scientists for reference.
