How to apply for EACR Meeting Sponsorship

Download the guidelinesApplications for Sponsorship of Scientific Meetings

EACR recognises the importance of scientific meetings to cancer researchers and the cancer research community. The Association has its own biennial congress and a developing programme of smaller focussed meetings to support members in their research and professional development. However, the Association cannot meet all of the educational needs and topics identified by its members and acts as a sponsoring agency where targeted support can help broaden the range of opportunities for communication and learning available to cancer researchers.

Application Deadlines: 31 December, 30 April and 31 August
Please note: Application Deadlines are strictly applied and the deadline for an application must be at least six months prior to the meeting taking place

DocumentApplications for Sponsorship of Annual Meetings held by National Member Societies affiliated to EACR

The partnership with National Member Societies for Cancer Research who have affiliated with EACR is highly valued. EACR also recognises the importance of national society meetings to cancer researchers, the cancer research community and the further development and success of national societies. EACR welcomes applications for sponsorship of national society meetings that fully meet the criteria set out in the guidelines. With 14 national societies now affiliated to EACR it will not be possible to sponsor a society’s annual meeting every year. The Meetings Committee is therefore keen to target its support towards elements of a meeting which provide particular interest and value to members.

Application Deadlines: 31 December, 30 April and 31 August
